Prayut asks flood-hit people to be patient | Bangkok Post: news

(Photo by Soonthorn Pongpao)Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has asked Ayutthaya people to be patient and to cooperate with the government’s integrated water management plan while visiting the flood-hit central province on Wednesday. Gen Prayut, accompanied by Interior Minister Gen Anupong Paochinda, met affected villagers at a temple in Sena district in the afternoon and was briefed about the flood situation in the province. Gen Prayut later travelled up the Noi River to distribute 500 relief bags to people in riverside communities. He and his entourage later flew to Chai Nat province on a helicopter to inspect the flood situation there.
